Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

A delegation from the Jintang Administrative Committee of the Zhoushan Archipelago New Area in Zhejiang Province visited Xiangzhou to promote its favorable business environment on Dec 14.

Jintang Island is situated at the southwest of Zhoushan Archipelago New Area, an area approved to be the fourth state-level new district by China's State Council in 2011. Serving as a key industry manufacturing zone in Zhoushan, Jintang is a cluster for injection molding machine screw manufacturers, gathering 670 related enterprises sharing over 70 percent of the national market.

Officials from Xiangzhou's investment promotion service center briefed the delegates on the district's advantages in technology development and nurturing talents.

The delegates from Jintang introduced the government support given to the Zhoushan Archipelago New Area's innovative development. Lin Xubo, deputy director of Jintang Management Committee hoped further exchanges in equipment manufacturing industry cooperation could take place during Jintang's industrial upgrading period.
