Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

A new shopping mall opened in Zhuhai's Xiangzhou District on Dec 10, just in time for the seasonal holiday period. 

Located on South Mingzhu Road, the shopping facility was built by Rainbow Shopping Mall and is the 69th mall that the Sino-foreign company has set up in China.

Flocks of visitors piled into the mall on the opening day to witness the opening ceremony and take advantage of discounts on offer.

The mall is divided into different zones themed on fashion, entertainment, youth and culture, and offers a variety of commodities and services.

Among the famous brands that have set up shop there include Vero Moda, U Lifestyle, Starbucks and Xinhua Bookstore.

Huang Jun, deputy chief executive of the Xiangzhou District government said at the opening ceremony that the Rainbow's presence will optimize the commercial structure in the Qianshan area of Zhuhai and give locals better shopping experiences.

Rainbow Shopping Mall Co., Ltd (Stock Code: 002419) was established in 1984. Its controlling shareholder is China Aviation Technology Shenzhen, subject to Aviation Industry Corporation of China.
