Xiangzhou attracts hi-tech investment in Shanghai and Beijing

A government delegation led by Huang Jun, Xiangzhou District's deputy chief executive, toured some of Shanghai and Beijing's innovative hi-tech enterprises from Nov 30 to Dec 2, hoping to attract investment.
The delegates first attended the three-day Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo held in Shanghai beginning on Nov 30. The expo, sponsored by Zhuhai-based Recycling Times Media, is the world's largest exhibition of the 3D printing industry, attracting more than one hundred enterprises from home and abroad to demonstrate their latest products.

Xiangzhou's 3D printing development was promoted as well as the district's investment advantages for key enterprises such as China North Industries Group Corporation.
At the next stop, the delegates visited Beijing enterprises including Youcare Pharmaceutical Group and Beijing Hongfu Technology Incubator.

At Youcare Pharmaceutical, Huang detailed Xiangzhou's land use and expressed his hope that the company will establish a Xiangzhou-based R&D center and incubator biomedical projects as early as possible. Yu Weishi, Youcare's chairman of the board, said they will invest more heavily in Zhuhai and make the most of South China's rich talent and medical resources.
