Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

The Xiangzhou government jointly organized a provincial-level job fair with colleges in Zhuhai on Nov 25, held at the Guangdong Polytechnic of Science and Technology.

The activity, sponsored by the Guangdong Education Department, attracted more than 9,000 vocational college graduates.

Some 9,000 jobs were up for grabs, offered by 470 enterprises from across Guangdong, such as Mitsubishi Elevator, YumRestaurants, and Apex Microelectronics.

On the day, 986 graduates signed employment contracts and another 2,500 signed agreements seeking to become engineers, designers, and managers in the future.

To provide job hunters with comprehensive all-round services, the job fair also offered a consultancy service on startups and vocational skills training sessions

So far this year, the Human Resources Development, Management and Service Center of Xiangzhou District has organized 24 job fairs. The center has pledged to take more measures to help address employment issues.
