Xiangzhou seeks Beijing investment

To inject new energy into Xiangzhou's industrial upgrade, a government delegation, led by District Chief Liu Qiying, took the initiative in attracting Beijing investors during an on-site tour from Nov 9 to 12.

The delegates were shown around the 6th Research Institute of China Electronics Corporation, Founder International Software, Beijing Research Institute of Automation for Machinery Industry and other competitive enterprises.

Founder International Software, under Peking University Founder Information Industry Group, is a service provider of software and information technology first established in 1996. Taking advantage of the Internet of Things and big data analysis systems, the enterprise is now as a pioneer in smart city building.

Liu introduced the district's integral development strategy for the software industry and hoped that Founder could join hands with Xiangzhou to make use of its favorable government policies and good growth environment. Zhou Daliang, CEO of Founder, expressed a willingness to work together on Xiangzhou's smart city project.

Delegates also toured a pharmaceutical and an offshore oil producer to draw diversified investment.
