Xiangzhou District organizes new job fair for graduates

Zhuhai's Xiangzhou District organized a new job fair at the Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai, on Oct 29 to connect graduates with enterprises.
The fair offered 6,461 jobs across the fields of software programming, machinery, marketing and design for about 5,000 graduates at the school.

The job fair has attracted renowned enterprises from cities across Guangdong province, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan and Zhongshan.
Around 1,880 job hunters have signed preliminary agreements with enterprises such as China Unicom, Midea Group, China Merchants Bank, Comba Telecom and Zhuhai Yinlong Energy.
Advisory services on job seeking, starting a business and government policies for graduates were also provided at the event.

The fair is a part of a series of recruitment events taking place this year in Xiangzhou District. So far, 18 fairs have been held at local colleges and universities, attracting 323 enterprises and resulting in 2,169 jobs.

It is hoped that the events will help young talents find jobs and start businesses in Xiangzhou District, and to also help meet the recruitment requirements of local enterprises.
