Headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, Shining 3D Tech became the first-ever 3D enterprise in the Third Board Market in August 2014.
Education-related 3D printing is seen as a significant business area. The company’s desktop 3D printers and 3D scanners are said to have already benefitted more than 5,000 primary and secondary schools and families. The company has also established dozens of innovative 3D printing demonstration classrooms throughout the country.
The company especially hopes to assist in the upgrade and transformation of home appliances by working with Gree and other enterprises in terms of 3D printing. In the meantime, it will provide three 3D printers in service to the aviation and aerospace industry, according to general manager Hu Weiping.
In the future, Zhuhai Shining 3D will develop a complete 3D printing technological system integrating scanning, printing equipment, printing manufacturing services, data content, maker training, and an Internet cloud platform, Hu revealed.
