Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

The first Zhuhai-Hong Kong-Macao International Videogame, Comic & Animation Show will host more than 50 cartoon characters from the two SARs along with Kingsoft’s Online Game Finale and live-stream League of Legends (LOL) competition at Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center from Oct 1 to 3.

Organized by the Zhuhai Cultural Industry Association and the Licensing & Franchising Association of Hong Kong, the event aims to be the most popular animation festivity in the Pearl River Delta. It will have a display area of 10,000 sq m at Exhibition Halls 1 and 2 in the center. 

Chinese mainland online game and animation representatives include the Legend of Qin, Crazy Journey to the West, Beetle Run, You Dumb I Dump, and Gundam Series. Hong Kong and Macao cartoon brands are represented by Cheong Funboy, Party Queen, Ekika, and Gee Kingdom Creations. 

The organizing committee has invited the agent of Home Toy Jay Chou Figures to bring 50 of its 2,000 limited edition figures to the show for on-site-orders. Four Hong Kong TVB stars will participate in the character image design and cosplay of Naruto and One Piece.   

Unlike previous animation activities, this show will also be adding competitive eSports. The first online gaming LOL competition will be held with a robopedia from Tencent. Moreover, online gaming finals of Swordman III and Mission Against Terror (MAT) developed by Kingsoft will be part of the show and will settle down in Zhuhai permanently.
