Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

Qianshan Community Healthcare Center of Xiangzhou was founded in 2009 with ratification from the district's health bureau and is managed by Xiangzhou People's Hospital. It is an integral health care center for medical treatment, disease prevention, rehabilitation, health education, psychosis management and family planning instruction, and shares all personnel and medical resources with Xiangzhou People's Hospital. It provides basic health care and 13 kinds of public health services for Qianshan community locals and instructs the Qianshan's 14 community health service stations.  

Since its establishment the center has provided health care for those over 65 years old and for patients with high blood pressure and diabetes, or needing maternal and child care or vaccinations. It provides health education and community rehabilitation, effectively implementing government policies for local people. 

To support the city's work of diagnosis classification and treatment mechanism promotion and the "Sanshi Teams" that started on May 1, 2016, Qianshan Community Healthcare Center formed 10 "Sanshi Teams" for local patients with high blood pressure or diabetes. The center also dispatched 11 deputy senior or higher level experts to the Zhuhai Municipal People's Hospital specialized team, further facilitating diagnosis and classification medical treatments of the two diseases.

The center has signed agreements with several higher hospitals and lower community health service stations for dual referrals and has set up a "green channel" for the work. In addition, it has built a joint construction and management mechanism with 14 of its affiliated community health service stations, supporting their work.
