Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai

A delegation led by Yan Haobo, secretary of Zhuhai’s Xiangzhou District Party Committee, surveyed a newly completed intelligent community on June 16.

The Anjuyuan intelligent community on Meihua Street, Xiangzhou District, is the first intelligent residential area of its kind in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. It started construction in March 2015 and was completed this May.

The complex is integrated in such a way that residents are given a card which is connected to their cell phone, giving them access to a number of systems through their cell phone. The “Intelligent Cabin” in the community can provide various services to local residents and allow people to pay bills through it. 

Children can borrow books for free from an automated library in the intelligent community, with more than 50 being borrowed per day since it went into operation a month ago.

The community is also equipped with an express delivery cabinet, making it more convenient for residents to receive their deliveries.

The delegation learned about the construction, use, and functions of the intelligent facilities and their maintenance. They also tried out these facilities and surveyed the access control system, public security network, and public WiFi.

Head of the Anjuyuan residential area introduced residents’ feedback and suggestions about the intelligent facilities.
