As a demonstration unit for cultural tourism in Zhuhai, the comprehensive Zhuhai Museum has 13 exhibition halls displaying local unearthed cultural relics collected from the sand dunes of the late Neolithic Period, the leavings of Zhuhai’s historical figures, and physical materials of the Reform & Opening-Up stage of China. It covers 15,400 square meters, with a floor area of 8,000 square meters. Its staff also embarks on research work concerning Zhuhai’s history and culture.
