China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has announced that it will set up an online platform called IoT Work to provide comprehensive information on policies, subsidies and other resources in the internet of things industry.
MIIT made the announcement at the World Internet of Things Exposition in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, which ran from Sept 10 to 13.
IoT Work is designed to increase transparency in the IoT industry by ensuring that all industry players have detailed information on government regulations and policies, as well as resources on offer such as industrial parks, subsidies and funding.
The platform is expected to ensure the healthy development of China's IoT industry, according to MIIT officials.
