Tianjin’s documentary Chasing the Red Star will be on air at 22:00 pm on the CCTV Documentary Channel from Nov 24.
The documentary is the first of its kind telling stories of foreign members of the Communist Party of China throughout the course of the CPC. It aims to mark the miracles and achievements in the victories of the Party.
It took the production team 16 months to research, interview, shoot, and produce, traveling to more than ten provinces, cities and counties across the country and visiting dozens of interviewees.
The in-depth data collation and new information from the interviews are expected to enhance people's understanding of the centenary history of the Party.
