The Pakistan Luban Workshop passed its acceptance evaluation on Mar 3 in Tianjin, a coastal city in North China.

Jointly built by Tianjin Modern Vocational Technology College and the Punjab Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), Pakistan, the workshop was unveiled at the Punjab TEVTA on July 18, 2018.
The workshop primarily serves the industrial city of Lahore, capital of Punjab, to expand Pakistan's industrial modernization talent pool; it also interacts with the agricultural city of Multan, to help in the country's transformation and upgrading of its agricultural mechanization.
The Tianjin Luban Workshop Research and Promotion Center has organized an expert group to conduct an evaluation on the workshop's management, construction effectiveness and characteristic results.

During their evaluation meeting, the experts listened to the reports from the two sponsor colleges in person and online, and heard feedback from the Punjab provincial agricultural machinery subsidy committee.

In addition, field trips were paid to the project's business partner, the Liho Group, and the "Classroom in the Air" teaching site at the Luban Workshop International Teaching Center in Tianjin, where digital teaching resources have been systematically developed.

The expert group agreed that the Pakistan Luban Workshop has found its role in the two country's cooperation, and it has good capabilities for sustainable development with scientific construction plans.

The workshop has been developing a joint education model. As of now, 33 Pakistani graduates have obtained both the Pakistani vocational training certificate and the Chinese academic certificate.
The workshop's course "Industrial Automation and Robotics" has been included in Pakistan's technical education and vocational training system. This course, which enjoys financial support from the provincial government, has cultivated more than 1,000 people per year.

The agricultural machinery training project, which was carried out in the MNS University of Agriculture, Multan, has annually trained an average of 512 local teachers, students and users with a bachelor's degree or above. It has also become a display window for China's new agricultural machinery products and technologies.

The workshop implements high-quality training based on a model of "degree education plus certificate education". It conducts skills training for cooperative enterprises in Pakistan, taking the integration of the China - Pakistan vocational education system as the main line of operation. As a result, it will contribute to enterprise development in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
