The Tianjin University of Technology and Education (TUTE) has blazed a distinctive trail in the development of national education for technical and vocational technology.

TUTE is committed to setting a benchmark for improving talent cultivation. It has focused on winning the approval of the recruitment and education of doctoral students, and consolidated the platform building in the cultivation of high-caliber teachers.

Also, TUTE has strengthened the building of think tanks and a key research base for the disciplines of humanities and social sciences. It conducted research designed to promote the professional development and moral and ethical building of faculty staffs, and provided teachers with talent support.

It has taken intensified efforts to build the China Research Center of World Skills Competition, the research center for vocational education. It  is the training base of the World Skills Competition, making tremendous contributions to the outstanding performances of Chinese contestants in the contest.

The school has worked hard to promote the building of high-caliber talent and national training centers for teachers from technical and vocational institutions.

In addition, TUTE spares efforts in raising the international influence of China's vocational education. It has sponsored the First International Summit for Technical Vocational and Education Training, taken part in the building of the Ethiopia Luban Work, strengthened the building of the International Research Center for the Luban Workshop Development, and exported the training models of vocational teachers with Chinese characteristics to the world.
