The development of Luban Workshop calls for expanding cooperation of domestic and overseas colleges, enterprises and local governments.
The Luban Workshop was named after Lu Ban (507-440 BC), a renowned Chinese carpenter, craftsman and engineer. The workshops train skilled talents for enterprises, enabling them to pursue technical innovation.
The Luban Workshop has collaborated with 66 domestic and overseas enterprises including China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, Tianjin Bohai Chemical Industry Group Co, Marriott Hotel and Hovione FarmaCiência.
The core of making Luban Workshop a global brand is to deepen the integration of vocational education with industries and promote cooperation between colleges and businesses.
A questionnaire survey for the cooperation shows that 100 percent of participants want to expand cooperation with the project; 85.7 percent believe that the cooperation plays an important role in improving their global presence. The satisfaction rate of the workshop's vocational training reached 80 percent.
In April 2021, the Luban Workshop Industry and Education Integration Alliance was established. Thirty-five enterprises and 21 vocational colleges across the country are participating in the project.
