The Ethiopian Luban Workshop, unveiled on April 28, mainly focuses on mechatronics training, which is a combination of different disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and information technology, as well as artificial intelligence and robotics.

Due to a lack of advanced teaching equipment, students at Ethiopian Technical University (ETU) had to learn through simulation videos and online demonstrations. The Luban Workshop allowed students to directly engage in practical classes with the help of modern machinery, greatly improving learning efficiency.

"These technologies are emerging technologies in the world. They are advanced and are very important for the industrialization agenda of our country," said Teshale Berecha, president of ETU.
