27 contracts for new projects have been signed for Tianjin's Jinghai district.
Contracts for 27 projects totaling 4.2 billion yuan ($575.46 million) were signed for Tianjin's Jinghai district on Wednesday.
Among the contracts signed were 10 for projects in the high-end manufacturing sector, four in the biopharmaceutical sector and six in the new materials sector.
The projects involve eight township industrial parks, including Jinghai High-tech, Daqiuzhuang town and Chenguantun town, with new quality production projects accounting for 92.6 percent.
Seven of the projects have projected investments exceeding 100 million yuan, covering areas including biomedicine, new energy and high-end equipment manufacturing, fitting with key industrial chains in Jinghai.
The projects all have solid market prospects and will further promote the intelligent, digital and high-end transformation of the advantageous manufacturing industry in Jinghai.
Tian Qin, secretary of the CPC Jinghai Administrative Service Office Committee, said the local authority will continue to closely monitor the construction progress of these projects and promptly address issues related to land, funding and talent in a bid to promote the development of new quality productivity in the region.
At the event, representatives from the relevant enterprises said the private economy in Jinghai district has a solid foundation and is fertile soil for investment and entrepreneurship. They intend to base themselves in Jinghai, expand cooperation areas, enhance the level of collaboration and make continuous efforts to strengthen the industrial clusters in the entire region and drive the ongoing renewal of projects.
