In recent years, Tianjin's Jinghai district has focused on establishing distinctive agricultural industry planting bases and promoting deep integration of agriculture, culture and tourism to realize rural prosperity.

The base, which began cultivating blueberries in 2022, currently has 30,000 plants. It uses sophisticated domestic purification and fertilization equipment and has introduced advanced fertilization technology, as well as imported fertilization facilities such as drippers and drip arrows from abroad. With these facilities, it basically has no need of pesticides.
"Blueberries have the effects of protecting the eyes, enhancing heart function, lowering cholesterol, and promoting cardiovascular health. The demand exceeds supply during holidays, so we plan to expand the planting area next year," said Guan Changbai, who is in charge of the planting base.
Going forward, Jinghai district will further promote environmentally friendly and standardized agricultural production, pursuing a sustainable path towards modern agricultural development.
