"The sorghum planted this year has plump and compact grains, and high starch content, making it very suitable for brewing. The expected yield per mu is estimated to reach 350 kilograms," said Zhou Shaoyin, the person in charge of grain planting cooperative in Tianjin.

In recent years, the towns in Jinghai district have actively explored large-scale planting and developed characteristic agricultural industries based on their geographical advantages, further broadening the channels for increasing farmers' income and promoting the rapid development of the local economy.
