During the May Day holiday, from May 1 to 5 this year, major scenic spots and tourist attractions in Tianjin's Dongli district saw a thriving market, receiving 263,000 visitors with revenue of 19.86 million yuan ($2.75 million).
The cultural and tourism activities were colorful and diverse. The Dongli Lake Carnival and the first music festival for university students attracted a large number of young tourists from Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to spend their holidays.
The lakeside camping festival offered activities such as camping barbecues, tenting, DIY crafts and bubble shows, drawing many families with children to enjoy the fun of camping.

The Evergrande Hot Spring Tourist Resort launched the "Romantic Hot Air Balloon" tour, featuring interactive activities for parents and children such as indoor climbing, hot spring water park, and sound therapy, helping visitors to experience a leisurely holiday.
