On April 26, Tianjin Dongli district held an intellectual property themed event to mark the 24th World Intellectual Property Day.
Wu Ting, head of the Tianjin Intellectual Property Office, and Deng Yingjun, director of the Patent Examination Cooperation (Tianjin) Center of the Patent Office (CNIPA), attended the event and delivered speeches, respectively. Li Chun, deputy secretary of the CPC Tianjin Dongli Committee and head of Dongli district, also attended the event.

During the event, the national intellectual property demonstration area in Dongli district was unveiled.
Dongli district and the CNIPA also signed a cooperation framework agreement to jointly facilitate local high level intellectual property services and talents cultivation.
Wu pointed out that in recent years, Dongli has achieved multiple accomplishments in the field of intellectual property. He hoped Dongli would make full use of its local resource advantages and further promote the local development of intellectual property.
Deng stated that the application of patent transformation is an important aspect of the high-quality development of intellectual property. This event has provided a platform for cooperation between Dongli district and the CNIPA.
