The list of popular-support projects of Dongli district in 2022 covers 20 major projects, including education, medical care, elderly care and travel, and 40 specific tasks, such as increasing compulsory education opportunities, ensuring the living standards of people in need, and implementing the transformation of old urban communities. Since this year, the local government has promoted the implementation of these projects, all of which have been completed.
New progress has been achieved in ensuring people's basic living standards. Dongli has implemented a more proactive employment policy, improved the professional skills of key groups and their employability and entrepreneurship, conducted skills training for 10,800 people, and create 18,300 new job positions. The basic living standards of people in need has been guaranteed, and 74.86 million yuan (about $10.72 million) of all kinds of relief funds have been distributed, benefiting 11,000 people in need and vulnerable groups. 1,058 low-income families with housing difficulties have been granted housing rental subsidies to help alleviate the housing difficulties of local people. New achievements have been made in the development of public services. Dongli has promoted the high-quality and balanced development of compulsory education, completed the construction of four schools, and provided an additional 540 preschool education and 1,530 compulsory education opportunities. The local government has also carried out a series of activities for the 20th Culture and Arts Festival to enable people to enjoy high-quality public cultural services.

New improvements have been made in optimizing people's living environment. Dongli district has steadily promoted the construction of relocation projects, and 10 old residential communities have been renovated. Furthermore, Dongli has also extended the green ecological barrier tour road by 30km to further optimize the local living environment.

In addition, new achievements have also been made in the construction of urban service facilities, with 190 smart communities being built to further improve the level of urban intelligence. Six bus lines have been opened, so as to optimize and facilitate people's daily travels. Four elderly care centers have been built, and 210 elderly care beds have been added, leading to the overall improvement of elderly care service quality in Dongli.
