The Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee of Dongli district recently freed more than 280,000 fry fish in the Dongli section of the Haihe river. This action aims to increase the number of fish stocks, protect the aquatic biodiversity, and improve the ecological environment of the river.

The staff said the fish species are suitable for growing in the Haihe river, and some 280,000 fry fish have reproduced here. These recently hatched fish could speed up the movement of other species and improve the water environment.

In the past three years, the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee of Dongli has discharged 769,000 fry fish into the Haihe river. Through scientific guidance, it has promoted the benign and efficient recycling of aquatic biological resources, protected fishery resources, and improved the ecological environment of waters in the region.
