Dongli district has been promoting economic and social development, adhering to the strategy of making employment a priority, and has been implementing measures to benefit people's livelihoods and improve service quality.
The local government has improved cooperation between colleges and enterprises. Tianjin Dongli Vocational Education Center School, just 4.2 kilometers from Tianjin Happy Valley, is a cradle of cultivating professional and skilled talents. In 2020, after the school signed a framework agreement with Tianjin Happy Valley, it paved the way for students to work as interns. Zhang Kexin, who graduated from Dongli Vocational Education Center School, now works in the financial department of Tianjin Happy Valley and is responsible for procurement. Zhang said: "In my work, I learned things that I could not learn at school and I have benefited a lot."
The unique geographical location is convenient for students of Dongli Vocational Education Center School to find work as interns. Every year, when there is an increased demand for employment at Tianjin Happy Valley, it contacts the school first, and 300-400 students can be arranged for part-time jobs, which provide students with training opportunities.

At present, as an internship and employment base in Tianjin, Tianjin Happy Valley has fulfilled its responsibilities, and cooperated with over 10 vocational secondary schools, colleges and universities, including Tianjin Mechanical and Electrical Industrial School and Tianjin Transportation Vocational College, to provide more than 10 posts in financial management, operation engineering, equipment maintenance and graphic design. At the same time, the company has assisted students in career planning, provided them with a good training environment, improved the employment training system and logistics support, and optimized the recruitment process.
Furthermore, Dongli has also been promoting the employment of veterans. This year, the Veterans Affairs Bureau of Dongli launched new policies and services through their official WeChat account and at special job fairs. In addition to establishing the employment service station for veterans in the New Tianjin Steel Group, the bureau has also established an employment service station with Anda Group and the Science Park of Civil Aviation University of China, so as to help veterans find employment.
In the first three quarters of this year, Dongli has carried out 46 recruitment activities, with more than 1,500 enterprises and 36,000 people participating. Over 5,000 people have been employed through these activities.
