Over the years, Dongli has implemented a series of security measures to improve the old-age service system and allow more elderly people to benefit from the policies.
In addition to strengthening the construction of the elderly care service institutions, Dongli has also brought non-governmental capital to participate in the construction process, building large-scaled private elderly care service centers. Over the past five years, nearly 10 of these centers have been built, attracting more than 60 million yuan (about $9 million) of non-governmental capital.

These comprehensive centers provide elegant environment and professional services, allocating rooms for seniors, function rooms, barber area and other spaces. Besides, these centers also provide meals, housekeeping services and medical care for the elderly, and allow the elderly to enjoy high-quality services at home.

Furthermore, Dongli has established a multi-level social assistance system to build a service platform and elderly care service network. The presence of community volunteers and public welfare organizations has solved many difficult problems for the elderly and made them feel the warmth of the family.
