The Second Cyberspace Security Summit convened in Tianjin on Sept 4, attracting experts and industry leaders to explore the latest developments in cybersecurity.

The forum focused on crucial areas such as big data security, AI governance, intelligent vehicle safety, mobile internet security and personal information protection. Participants delved into innovative technologies and potential future scenarios, aiming to craft effective strategies, models and standards for network security governance.

In addition to the main forum, the summit featured five specialized sub-forums which addressed critical topics like security in the information and innovation sector, governance of mobile application security ecosystems, and the legal framework for network and data security.

The Fifth International Anti-Virus Conference also took place today, where the national computer virus collaborative analysis platform was launched. The platform will provide digital file security analysis services to both domestic and international users, fostering global cooperation in cybersecurity and data sharing.

During the conference, the National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center unveiled two reports, offering comprehensive analyses of the current risks and challenges in cyberspace security and proposing strategic countermeasures.

Key recommendations included strengthening the legal and regulatory framework, establishing a collaborative governance model, accelerating the development of standards, and enhancing monitoring and early warning systems. These insights provide essential guidance for advancing China's cybersecurity risk management in an increasingly complex landscape.
