Located in Tianjin's new Binhai district, The Tianjin Juilliard School has advanced facilities and a well-designed campus. Juilliard broke ground in China on June 15, 2017. Applications for the Saturday Pre-College program for the fall of 2019 for young musicians ages 8 to 18 are now open.

Tianjin Juilliard School was opened by the Juilliard School of New York City. Founded in 1905, the Juilliard School is a world leader in performing arts education.
Tianjin Juilliard School, a result of partnership between the Juilliard School and the Tianjin Conservatory of Music, the Tianjin Binhai New Area C.B.D. Administrative Commission, and Tianjin Innovative Finance Investment Company (T.I.F.I.) is the first higher education school co-established by China and a foreign country in music and performing arts education. It is committed to bringing the world's top Juilliard music education experience to China and the world.

The deadline is February 1, 2019 and the number of enrollments in the first session is 80. The students will work with dedicated, world-class faculty and be given opportunities to perform in solo, chamber, and orchestral concerts.

The school will also offer U.S.-accredited Master of Music degrees in the fall of 2020.
Weekly public performances and outreach performances will be held within the community, either free or at a very low cost. About 150 performances every year will be presented in the 687-seat concert hall, 299-seat recital hall, and 250-seat black-box theater.
