The "Making a Wish in the Autumn & The Third Red Leaves Season" event was formally held by the Feng Jicai Institute of Literature and Art at Tianjin University on Oct 17.

The event allows students to specify their development goals in a letter scheduled to be opened in the Red Leaves Season of the year of either 2022, 2023 or 2024.

"You will find whether you have realized personal dream and become the one who you aspire to be in the original letters when opening them in the designated year," Feng Jicai, writer, folk artist and dean of the institute, said to attending students at the opening ceremony.

Feng added that the activity will be held regularly in the future, since it can help attendees cherish the memories of their past and encourage them to engage in self-pursuit, as well as understand and reflect on themselves and life in general.
