Tsinghua Holdings’ subsidiaries resume work

As of Mar 6, 2020, over 95.4 percent of the subsidiaries under Tsinghua Holdings had resumed work and production by adopting flexible working arrangements.

The enterprises and subsidiaries in Hubei province and other epidemic hard-hit regions will resume work strictly in accordance with policies of local governments.

Tsinghua Unigroup and its subsidiary H3C donated network communication and information security equipment to Huoshenshan Hospital and Leishenshan Hospital, which were both constructed in just a few days to curb the spread of COVID-19. The project team efficiently completed equipment installation, debugging and tests to ensure the network systems of the hospitals could be put into use as soon as possible.

Unis Insight worked with H3C to provide free network and security equipment as well as high-definition video conferencing equipment and services to multiple hospitals in Chongqing and Chengdu. Unis Insight also built the security system for the entrance and exit and fever clinics of 18 hospitals in Nan'an District, Chongqing Municipality.

Other subsidiaries under Tsinghua Unigroup has resumed work gradually since Feb 3 by adopting flexible working arrangements.

Tus-EST, a subsidiary dedicated to ecological and environmental protection under Tus-Holdings, deployed its 12 medical waste disposal projects nationwide and has worked with all-out efforts on medical waste disposal and treatment since the onset of the COVID-19 outbreak.

More than 90,000 workers worked around the clock to conduct food waste disposal, garbage incineration power generation, sanitation disinfection and cleaning, and urban water supply and sewage treatment in a timely manner in areas hit by the novel coronavirus.

Tus-Clean Energy Group, except for the subsidiaries in Hubei province, resumed work on February 10. Its subsidiary Tsinghua Solar, providing clean heating service in winter in rural areas of northern China, has provided remote support service through videos, photos, calls and WeChat groups to avoid contact during the COVID-19 prevention and control.

The intelligent production base of Yadu Technology, a subsidiary of Tus-Holdings specializing in air purification products, called employees on vacation back to work on January 21. The company has stepped up its production to three shifts a day to produce urgently needed anti-epidemic materials. It produces 30,000 N95 masks per day.
