Tech companies under Tsinghua Holdings fight against COVID-19 with advanced technologies

High-tech companies under Tsinghua Holdings have provided services and products to help combat the outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Wuhan city, Central China’s Hubei province.

Donation of network communication for Huoshenshan Hospital

When the Huoshenshan Hospital, which was constructed quickly to curb the spread of COVID-19, opened on Feb 2, its network communication and information security products and equipment were already efficiently deployed to support its medical information systems.

The products were donated by Tsinghua Unigroup and its subsidiary H3C to ensure information communication in the hospital as its medical workers fight the epidemic.

The 40G bandwidth access to external networks enables remote consultations and video access in the hospital.

Unicloud helps government service platforms offer timely information to the public

In Lianyungang city, East China’s Jiangsu province, the technical team of Unicloud, a subsidiary of Tsinghua Unigroup, took only ten hours to open a new COVID-19 prevention and control function on the city’s governmental affairs service APP – “My Lianyungang”. The new function provides urban residents with accurate epidemic information and medical security services.

Unicloud also helped Beijing’s Xicheng District and Tianjin’s Binhai New Area to launch online services concerning COVID-19 prevention on their APPs and WeChat platforms. In addition, Unicloud also offered product solutions, such as video conferencing, a cloud network disk, office collaboration, CDN, and data security to meet the needs of companies after resuming work.

CapitalBio’s products on Zhongguancun’s technology list to fight against COVID-19

CapitalBio Technology has had four COVID-19 detection reagents and services selected into the first batch of Zhongguancun enterprises' new technologies, products and services able to fight COVID-19, according to a list made by the Zhongguancun Science Park Administrative Committee.

As many as 138 new technologies,  products and services of 86 enterprises in the park were on the list, and most of them are relatively mature and can be immediately put into battle against the epidemic.

Intelligent temperature measurement and video technologies help COVID-19 prevention in Qingdao city

Qingdao Hailiang Digital Technology, a subsidiary of Tus-Holdings, has developed a high-precision infrared temperature measurement program to assist the urban management office of Shibei District, Qingdao City, East China’s Shandong province, in epidemic prevention and control.

The intelligent algorithm technology helps monitor human body temperature with high precision.

It also supports intelligent alarms of abnormal temperatures and higher efficiency screening of suspected infections. In addition, its real-time HD 4K video streaming helps monitor actual situations on site.

Incubated enterprises in Tsinghua Science Park make contributions to epidemic control

Beijing Neatrition Technology Co., Ltd., a new material and technology company incubated in the Tsinghua Science Park, donated nearly 10,000 antibacterial and anti-fog glasses cloths to hospitals in Wuhan city and other cities in China.

Neatrition is a forerunner in the industrialization of super hydrophobic technology. Its series of products mainly features exterior hydrophobic nano materials, which are waterproof, dustproof, snow proof and oil proof.

Jinan Robot Phoenix Technology Co., Ltd., also an enterprise incubated in the Tsinghua Science Park, offered its mask automatic packaging system to mask manufacturers for free use.

The mask automatic packaging system is an intelligent and efficient solution independently developed and designed by Robot Phoenix. Featuring high-speed parallel robots, conveyor tracking and visual recognition technology, a single set of the automatic system can replace 4 to 6 people, more than doubling production efficiency.
