Mei Meng

Mei Meng, professor of Tsinghua University, graduated from the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University in 1982. He now works as director of TusPak Development Center, honorary chairman of Tus-Holdings Co Ltd, vice-dean of Tsinghua University TusPark Research Institute for Innovation and president of Council of Industry and Technology Innovation Alliance in Zhongguancun Park. He is also the head of National University Science Park Research Institute, and a deputy to the 14th NPC Beijing Committee. 

Mei was assigned to be in charge of the founding of Tsinghua University Science Park (TusPark) in 1994. Since then, he has been engaging in the construction and management of TusPark. He has contributed comprehensive and in-depth research and gained extensive practical experience regarding the construction and development of university science parks, industry-university-research integration. He has proposed a Siju (gathering, aggregation, focus and fusion) theory on science parks, which has important influence on the construction and development of science parks and the regional innovation system.

As a professor of Tsinghua University, he also teaches courses at the university, such as Hi-tech Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, and Venture Opportunity Screening and Business Plan and Establishment of a Business.
