CapitalBio Corp's HLA Genotyping test lab is the biggest of its kind under the China Marrow Donor Program. The lab has finished 380,000 sample tests. In October 2008, it successfully developed an HLA high-resolution gene-typing system, which can be applied to HLA high-resolution gene-typing of HLA-A, B, C, DRB1 and DQB1 locus. The system was independently developed and has broken foreign monopolies over the Chinese market. It greatly boosts the development of high-resolution gene-typing databases under CMDP. To date, CapitalBio's lab is the only one in China certified by both the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment and the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics. Its services have impacted many people, with a quality control and test result precision of 99.99 percent, which exceeds domestic and international standards. The services include detection of disease-related genes.
