The project of Harbin Taiping Wastewater Treatment Plant initiates the exploration of the BOT (build-operate-transfer) mode. It was hailed as the largest city wastewater treatment project run in the way of BOT with lowest cost and most standard operation in China in 2004. Its treatment capacity is 325,000 tons per day.
