The Xi'an International Horticultural Exposition opened in April 2011. This world-level event recorded 15 million visits from home and abroad over 178 days. Located in Chanba Ecological District, Xi'an, the expo park has an area of 418 hectares, including a water area of 188 hectares.

Tongfang Optoelectronics was the project's general contractor, and provided detailed designs, equipment and construction for the lighting of the park's fountains, buildings and landscapes. The park is a popular tourists' destination in Xi'an.
