Jianamani Visitor Center is a key post-disaster reconstruction project after Yushu Tibetan autonomous prefecture in Qinghai was damaged by a severe earthquake in 2010. The center is built to serve Jianamani cairn, the world's largest Tibetan Buddhist cairn where received nearly 300,000 pilgrims during the Dharma assembly.

The visitor center serves both visitors and the local community. To visitors and pilgrims, it provides information about Jianamani and its history complemented by viewing the surrounding historical sites. It has a post office, a bank, a clinic, and public restrooms to provide the basic modern services for visitors, pilgrims and local residents.

Located in ethnic minority areas, it plays an active role in promoting ethnic solidarity and cooperation and strengthening ethnic relationships.
