Ruan Fang is currently the general-manager of Beijing Huahuan Electronics Co Ltd (Huahuan). Ruan was honored for Best Leadership in 2006, and was named advanced worker of Tsinghua University in 2009 and outstanding Party member of Tsinghua University in 2011. 

Ruan became Huahuan's general-manager in January 2006, when the company had had five years of flat sales. He proposed greater market-orientation, identified the corporate mission as providing unimpeded information and creating value for customers, and set the company goal of making Huahuan an influential communication equipment manufacturer in China.

Under his leadership, Huahuan has become a trusted brand and a mainstream manufacturer in the MSAP (multi-services access platform) market. From 2006 to 2012, its annual sales growth rate exceeded 20 percent, while its net profit growth rate surpassed 30 percent.

Ruan prioritized strategic planning and intellectual property protection. He has established an intellectual property protection committee in Huahuan. To date, Huahuan has nine invention patents. Ruan encourages a research based enterprise with strengthened standardized management and team building. He has introduced a series of measures in Huahuan for professional development.
