Xiamen's culinary scene shone brightly at the recent 2025 Golden Phoenix Tree China Restaurant Guide Awards Ceremony, securing a total of 10 prestigious "Golden Phoenix Tree" star recommendations.

Among the accolades, two restaurants were honored with the distinguished two-star recommendation including Hai Hai Lin Xing and Yanyu (Xinjing Center), while eight restaurants earned the one-star recommendation including Hokklo, Hey Ming, XIA Restaurant of Lohkah Hotel, and Xing Wang Seafood (Wuyuan Bay).

The Phoenix Tree China Restaurant Guide has become a highly recognized and influential third-party platform for evaluating quality dining in China. It assesses restaurants across multiple dimensions, including ingredient sourcing, culinary techniques, cultural expression, and consumer experience.

The guide not only serves as a trusted reference for diners but also drives the innovative development and brand upgrading of regional cuisines across the country.

In recent years, Xiamen has taken multiple measures to propel Fujian cuisine brands into the international tier and build a well-rounded ecosystem for the development of culinary brands.

In May 2024, the city issued the "Xiamen Three-Year Action Plan for Accelerating the Innovative Development of New Fujian Cuisine (2024–26)", providing strong policy support for Fujian cuisine brands to establish deeper roots locally and expand their influence nationwide.
