Following the opening of the Xiamen-Manila dedicated cargo flight route, Air Road Logistics launched the dedicated cargo flight route from Xiamen to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on March 3. It is the first regular dedicated cargo flight route directly connecting two cities.

According to the flight schedule, the regular cargo route from Xiamen to Ho Chi Minh City operates twice a week, transporting mainly general trade goods and fresh products. It is expected to achieve an annual cargo throughput of 2,000 metric tons, meeting the needs of the two locations.

Vietnam, as the third largest trade partner of Fujian province within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), has been a focal point for investment and trade activities for Fujian enterprises.

In recent years, the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement has unleashed greater cooperative dividends and momentum. With the successive opening of international freight routes, there is potential for further deepening economic and trade cooperation between Fujian and Vietnam.

By launching two regular freight routes to Southeast Asia within a week, Air Road Logistics has entered an accelerated phase of enhanced ocean freight capabilities. This move establishes an efficient air transport corridor between Xiamen, the southeastern region of China, and Southeast Asia.
