The Kinmen commercial vessel Wuzhou Huifeng carrying goods on the "Mini Three Links" routes between Fujian's coastal cities and the Kinmen Island and the Matsu Island group group berthed on Feb 22 at the Dongdu International Cruise Terminal, which carried out the first customs clearance procedures for imported goods from Taiwan in small quantities.

A total of 46.4 tons of frozen squid were imported that day, and the entire customs clearance process was rapid and smooth.

The various port clearance processes have strengthened collaborative coordination, with all parties working to understand the import needs of enterprises.

They have verified the business qualifications of enterprises in advance, promoted regulatory requirements, and proactively connected with port stations to carry out the transformation and expansion of the inspection area at the cruise center dock.

The port owners, the cruise homeport group, have also actively cooperated to improve relevant hardware and software supporting facilities.

The customs of the cruise port, along with other joint inspection units, have actively carried out related work, reducing clearance times and significantly reducing costs for enterprises.

In addition, the proximity of the cruise port to the seafood market facilitates the import of aquatic products from Taiwan using the small-scale trade method, making the procedures more convenient and providing assistance to enterprises in expanding into new markets.
