The "Silk Road Maritime" route at Xiamen Port recently surpassed 10,000 voyages, with a cumulative container throughput of 11.16 million TEUs.

As the port clearance environment continues to improve, Xiamen's position as a pivotal city along the Maritime Silk Road is becoming stronger. From small items such as tea, clothing, and footwear to larger products like automobiles and machinery, more and more products from local and neighboring areas are being exported via Xiamen Port.

The "Silk Road Maritime" route has created an efficient maritime transportation network, helping Xiamen Port attract and concentrate numerous advantageous resources and further enhancing Xiamen's competitiveness.

As a key port along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road and one of the four major international shipping centers planned for construction by the state, Xiamen Port's network of connections continues to expand.

It has 158 foreign trade routes reaching 152 ports in 57 countries and regions, of which 59 are called "Silk Road Maritime" routes, encompassing 86 ports across 28 countries.

"Silk Road Maritime" is China's first international integrated logistics service brand and platform with a focus on shipping under the Belt and Road Initiative. It was established in December 2018.

The Silk Road Maritime Alliance has 317 member units, covering all aspects of the industrial chain, including ports, shipping, logistics, port services, production, trade, and wholesale and retail.
