CHEONGFULI (Xiamen), a subsidiary of Xiamen C&D STEEL Group, signed a memorandum of cooperation with Conares, the second-largest private steel manufacturer in the United Arab Emirates, in Dubai.

The companies will join forces to provide high-quality Chinese steel products to the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, meeting the ever-increasing demands of various industries such as construction, infrastructure development, and manufacturing.

At the same time, the memorandum will promote commodity and service trade between China and the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Established in 1988, Conares has established extensive partnership relations with renowned steel factories across the world, and has set up its own advanced manufacturing plant system.

"Conares' expertise in steel manufacturing complements C&D STEEL's operational resource advantage in China's steel market. Dubai serves not only as a transit hub for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries but also for Middle Eastern and African countries. The UAE's liberal economic and trade policies provide robust support for market development, " said a representative of Conares.

"Conares is a vital partner of C&D STEEL in the Middle Eastern market. The signing of this memorandum marks a new chapter in their collaboration. C&D STEEL will leverage local economic and trade policy advantages to spur regional development with its high-quality steel products," said a representative of C&D STEEL.

Next, C&D STEEL will accelerate its international market layout through various business models and help Chinese steel products go global, while also introducing overseas high-quality industrial resources.
