Tongxiang High-Tech City, Xiamen's largest manufacturing development platform, is swiftly transforming into a crucial hub for burgeoning industries, such as new energy, advanced materials, and flat-panel displays. The area has attracted scores of industry frontrunners and is currently cultivating a vibrant ecosystem of upstream and downstream enterprises that fosters the rapid formation of modern industrial clusters.

The high-tech city has recently successfully drawn 110 distinguished industrial projects, amassing a planned total investment of approximately 216 billion yuan ($30.41 billion). Among them are nine megaprojects exceeding 10 billion yuan and 33 ventures above 1 billion yuan, with 43 projects currently operational.

With a strategic focus on expediting industrial cluster development, Tongxiang High-Tech City emphasizes the swift completion of industry chains and cluster formation. The city fuels robust industrial agglomeration by carefully examining the supply chains of leading enterprises and crafting tailored investment promotion policies.

Several noteworthy projects have arisen within the flat-panel display sector, including Tianma's G6 AMOLED and Hualian Electronics. Similarly, new energy and advanced materials sector leaders, such as Xiamen Ampace and Contemporary Amperex Technology, are gathering in the area, supported by crucial projects.

Eager to strengthen the innovative prowess of its new energy sector, Tongxiang High-Tech City actively seeks collaborations with complementary projects, nurturing long-term sustainability and competitiveness. Additionally, the city has enticed diverse quality projects—like Xinda IOT and Keytop—by targeting manufacturing "hidden champions" and innovative "small giants".
