Xiamen shines at housekeeping expo in Beijing
The First Housekeeping Expo, which is the first exclusive exhibition for the domestic industry in China, took place from April 28 to 30 in Beijing.
A total of more than 300 well-known domestic industry enterprises from 18 provinces (cities) participated in the event, which covered community domestic services, home care and childcare and related industry integration. A series of activities were also rolled out, including forum exchanges, policy interpretations, exhibition displays and interactive experiences.
The Xiamen Exhibition Hall covered an area of 144 square meters and was mainly characterized by elements such as egrets, triangular plums and waves. The circular design at the top of the booth symbolizes the integration of industries, the city, resource circulation and docking to form a virtuous cycle of industrial and urban development.

Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
