Hongfa moves toward internationalization with high-quality, diverse products

As a leader in the global relay industry, Xiamen-based Hongfa Group is exploring a path toward globalization with diverse products, a growing market share and accelerated innovation.

Established in 1984, the company has more than 30 subsidiaries worldwide and three major research and development and production bases in China. Its products cover relays, medium and low-voltage electrical appliances, complete high and low-voltage equipment, connectors, and precision capacitor parts and automation equipment, which are widely used in such areas as energy, transportation information, household appliances and medical care.

Since its establishment, Hongfa remains determined to taking an export-oriented approach of promoting an industrial layout around the world, adopting an internationalization strategy and increasing investment in the global market.

It has established subsidiaries in countries and regions including Europe, the United States and Germany and set up offices in areas such as the Philippines, India, Brazil, Turkey and South Korea. In 2019, it established its first overseas factory in Indonesia.

As of 2021, Hongfa sold products to more than 22,000 customers from 120-odd countires and regions across five continents.

Hongfa has developed from a single relay producer to a manufacturer of multiple products such as traditional power relays, vehicle relays and signal relays.

For example, the company has produced the world's first and smallest fifth-generation PCB relay independently as well as fifth-generation signal relays for customers such as Huawei, CATL, Hikvision and GE. Hongfa develops high-voltage direct current relay products and cooperates with companies such as Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Volkswagen in the new energy vehicle field.
