From Oct 20 to 31, 8.26 million products worth 3.33 billion yuan ($520.86 million) were pre-sold online in Xiamen for the Double 11 shopping gala. Both figures put the city in first place in Fujian province.

Statistics from the municipal bureau of commerce showed that Xiamen's Siming district, Huli district, and Xiang'an district were the top three districts in the city in terms of pre-sales volume with 2.64 billion yuan, 310 million yuan, and 260 million yuan, respectively.

The most-sold products were textiles and garments, home appliances, and commodities, valued at 1.76 billion yuan, 570 million yuan, and 370 million yuan, respectively.

In addition to online consumption, Xiamen held nearly 50 shopping festivals offline during this year's Double 11 in commercial areas, shopping malls, and supermarkets.
