Exhibition showcasing education equipment wraps up in Xiamen

More than 1,300 companies from around the world attended the 79th China Education Equipment Exhibition held in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, from April 23 to 26.
The companies included Global Fortune 500 companies such as Tencent, Haier, and China Telecom, as well as top 500 Chinese companies such as BOE, Hisense, and Changhong.

Over 20,000 products from these companies were on display during the exhibition, including 5,287 software products, 4,266 computer hardware products, 760 products related to intelligent classrooms and campuses, and 261 cloud products.
Online versions of the exhibition were also launched and more than 30 forums, academic conferences, and exchange activities were held during the exhibition.

Organized by the Education Department of Fujian Province and the Xiamen Municipal Government, the exhibition implemented the principle of "industries plus exhibitions" promoted by Xiamen authorities.

Moving forward, the city will explore similar exhibitions for 12 local industrial chains, each with an annual output of at least 100 billion yuan ($15.46 billion), in an effort to achieve high-quality development in the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions) industry.
