The China 2021 (Xiamen) International Cross-border E-commerce Industry Expo (ICEIE) will be held in the coastal city of Xiamen in June 2021, according to a news conference held in the city on Nov 17.

The event is expected to have an exhibition area of more than 20,000 square meters, and an array of supporting activities will be held, including exhibitions, meetings, project matchmaking events, and negotiations.

Four themed exhibition areas will be featured at the expo, offering a high-end platform for the country's manufacturers, cross-border e-commerce traders, and service providers to interact and form partnerships.

Authorities have said that the expo is expected to provide more cooperation opportunities for global cross-border e-commerce enterprises and play an active role in building a dual-circulation development pattern.
