Domestic auto makers experience export growth in B&R countries
Domestic auto makers exported 725 million yuan ($101.42 million) worth of buses to countries and regions along the Belt and Road (B&R) in the first four months of this year, an increase of 28.26 percent year-on-year, according to statistics released by the Xiamen Customs.
The main drivers behind this growth are the country's recent policy measures to help domestic auto companies resume production. Domestic automobile makers have made great efforts to explore the new emerging markets along the B&R, according to an industry insider.
China's leading bus maker Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Company has further expanded the B&R market, with its buses being exported to countries like Malaysia, Egypt and Singapore.
Additionally, Xiamen Port has been focusing on creating a sound business and law enforcement environment and improving the convenience of customs clearance with the help of Xiamen Customs.
The port offered a special operation area for the company to overcome a wide range of difficulties and ensure smooth delivery.
