Experts explore drone industry development in Xiamen
Xiamen in East China's Fujian province held its first Drone Industry Exchanges Conference in Xiamen University of Technology on May 31.
More than 200 experts from over 100 relevant associations and businesses from China attended the conference to share their ideas on the development of drone industry and technological advancement.
An exhibition showcasing drones and their supporting products were also held at the same with the conference with exhibits of industrial drones, commercial drones, ground drone equipment and maritime drone equipment.

Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
